Vietnam Market Entry & Growth Advisory

Everything it takes to stand up in Vietnam.

Turnleaf Management Advisory takes foreign companies from decision to operating entity in Vietnam — legal setup, office, staffing, and systems — then stays on to help you win the market and grow the leaders running it.

What we do

Three ways we support you

Most firms need help getting set up, help reading the market, or help developing the leaders running the operation. We're built to do all three, or just the one you're missing.

Pillar 01
Market Entry & Operations
The on-the-ground work of standing up a legal, staffed, functioning office in Vietnam — handled end to end so your team doesn't have to learn local process from scratch.
Legal entity setup & regulatory compliance
Office & building leasing
Staffing & local recruitment
Systems setup — banking, payroll, IT
Visa & work permit processing for foreign staff
Pillar 02
Strategy & Growth Advisory
Once you're operational, the question shifts from "can we set up here" to "how do we win here." We bring the market read and the channel relationships to answer it.
Market conditions & feasibility analysis
Go-to-market strategy
Partnership & distribution channel setup
Pillar 03
Executive Coaching
Structures and org charts only get a leadership team so far. We coach the CEOs and senior leaders running the Vietnam operation, often the first in-market leadership role either has held.
1:1 coaching for CEOs & country leads
Leadership development for senior teams

Turnleaf started in 2019 as an engagement-based advisory practice — not a pitch deck.

Since then, we've guided 40+ SMEs through Vietnam market entry and operational scale-up, and coached 80+ executives and directors leading in Vietnam's business environment. The practice paused twice for full-time mandates: 14 months as Country Lead standing up a $2.19B APAC technology firm's Vietnam presence from zero, and a year directing BPO and ERP consulting projects at EY across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

That in-market and inside-large-organization experience is what Turnleaf now runs full-time — the same operator, the same playbook, applied to your entry instead of someone else's.

Personal background
Vin Luyen — Founder & Principal

Before founding Turnleaf, Vin spent 22+ years as an operator across the US and APAC — building the operating systems that turn strategy into execution. Highlights from that career, prior to and outside of Turnleaf:

  • Directed a $2M consulting project portfolio and led a SAP ERP rollout across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos as a Director at EY.
  • Governed a $100M annual marketing budget at Visa, capturing $8M in efficiencies without reducing campaign effectiveness.
  • Led a global SKU rationalization at Chevron generating $15M in supply chain savings.
